For 14 years now, ComputerWorld has been putting out a list of the Top 100 places to work for in the IT department. This year is no different, and they hav published yet another annual list of the top 100 places to work in IT. This list is comprised of information based on five different areas of employment: career development, retention, benefits, diversity, and training.
According to the Company Scorecard, the top five retention methods are competitive benefits, competitive salaries, work/life balance, flexible work hours, and tuition reimbursement. The list contains companies such as the U.S. Postal Service (83), MIT (93), Pulte Homes, Inc. (69), USAA (39), and Anheuser-Busch Cos. (9).
Glad to see that a beer company made it into the Top 10. I figure if there is anywhere that somebody would want to work…it’s a beer company. Check out the full article for a little more info on some of the companies.
